You will start at the temple, getting a limited amount of information from the farm hand.

Speaking with him you will find out how to train your skills:

Sword training:	Distance training:
Dig mud	Cut Bushes
Cut wheat	Put wheat through mills
Cut wild growth	raking dead trees

Start by digging up mud to gain money, and advance you sword skill.
(you need a minimum of sword 20 to procede to the next area.)

You can then sell the mud you harvest to the farm buyer, aswell as other items that you get as you farm different things.
If you dig up a scythe, don't throw it away! keep at least one of them because they will be handy in the future!

Once you gain enough money you can buy yourself a bush cutter to train your distance skill. Each Bush trash can be sold aswell for three times that of mud! Keep training your sword fighting though in-order to gain access to the second area. once you reach 20 sword , there will be many bushes to train you distance on.

Now that you are in the second are there are many many bushes to cut to gain distance skills! One of the first things you should do however is head over the bridge and start cutting your way to the west where you will find a quest box with a rake in it! you can now start using the scythe on wild growth, then using the rake on resulting dead magic trees!
